I love to play video games and believe that parents don’t see video games as a social activity, and unfortunately, they see it as an isolating one. In my opinion, however, video games create a common ground to make friends, allow us to hang out and ultimately provide structured time; further, some games improve hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills.
Of course, you know that there are many types of games on the market and I promote full-action fantasy RPGs that I believe show teamwork, collaboration, and a bit of action.
